   Hi, am also experiencing \"There are 0 links in your sitemap\" but i also get a Curl error as well as a bunch of other warnings:

   Hey Festim,

   You got a timeout, try to crawl with one parallel connection.
   Can you ask your Webspace-Provider, if there is a firewall? or something like that?

   Hi Patrick,
   My host says that all the standards ports are open. However i know that I do not have root access on appache. I had to change the folder permissions manually. Do you think this could be the problem?

   Here\'s what my host says: \"Your site sits behind our corporate firewall but all standard ports are opened. What is it that you are trying to do and we can see what the problem is?\"

   Any suggestion what i could ask them?

   Thank you for your effort (asking etc..)

   You can ask your host the following question:

   \"I\'m trying to connect to http://www.yourdomain.com with PHP and the curl extension.

   The script is stored on the hosting of http://www.yourdomain.com. On connecting i recieve a timeout on port 80.

   Can you tell me why? Or can you connect from the webspace to the corresponding domain?\"

   Thats it, you can replace \"www.yourdomain.com\" replace with the real domain and then copy & paste.

   Try to change line 7 of administrator/components/com_jcrawler/admin.jcrawler.php

   @ini_set(\"memory_limit\",\"256M\");

   The 256M sets the limit to 256 megabytes (268435456 bytes). If this doesn’t work, keep increasing the memory limit until your script fits or your server squeals for mercy.

   You can also make this change permanently for all PHP scripts running on the server by adding a line like this to the server’s php.ini file:

   memory_limit = 64M

   Keep in mind that a huge memory limit is a poor substitute for good coding. A poorly written script may inefficiently squander memory which can cause severe problems for frequently executed scripts. However, some applications are run infrequently and require lots of memory like importing and processing a big data file.

   Change 256M to (example) 512M --> @ini_set(\"memory_limit\",\"512M\");

   i think its not a memory limit if festim gets a timeout.

   256M should be enough for every website

   Thanks for this post. I had this problem too with curl and changed parallel to 5 and priority to 7. (automatic caused 404 error) And that did the trick. Great component! Thanks again!
